The Village-Part IV

Ramu is not emotionally prepared to tackle the opposition to his proposal.He understood full impact of naysayers only after coming into touch with the village soil. He had totally worked out thinking about possible opposition and is desperately in need of a solution that removes the burden off his brain and move forward with his dream. Meanwhile his grandmother called him for lunch.Ramu got some solace from his disturbing thoughts while having his lunch.

The Village-Part III

Ramu alwyas thought about pros of starting a hospital.First time it occurred to him that there can be 'cons' also for the same proposal.He may have to face stiff oppoisition from some of the villagers.But why?Why would anyone oppose building of a hospital for the common good?Because there are many who feel pain to give credit to where it is due.So is this young lad garners all the credit just because he is building a hospital?What about our stature?Won't we be questioned by villagers why we did not think of such a good project earlier?

The Village-Part II

Few old faces greeted him when he alighted the bus.He replied gently and smiled.He is feeling overjoyed to be able to see his home again where all the joyful moments of his childhood days returns to him whenever he sets foot in his home. He was affectionately treated by his grandmother who is residing with her unmarried daughter who is polio afflicted. He had his lunch and sat on the chair in the portico.He feels thrilled whenever he sits in that wooden chair.That is the chair where his father used to sit and resolved several disputes of the village.He got thrill all over his body on sitting in that chair. Now he began to think about his plans for his village.The foremost issue is ofcourse building a hospital. Then an old man came and greeted Ramu.Suddenly a thought occurred to Ramu.What is that thought?Why that thought inspired Ramu?

The Village - Part-1

Ramu is feeling rejuvenated sitting in the bus that is bound for his native village.Although he had visited his village earlier many tmes,this village trip is special for him.He had visited the vilage as a care-free student all these years.But now he got an employment with a big firm,so he is visiting as an earning person this time. Ramu had many dreams for his tiny vilage of about 1500 people.The village never had a hospital.For even a small illness,they had to go to nearby bigger village or to the nearby town.He decided while he is studying time that, when he had money,he would build a hospital for the village with all the specialist doctors. He did not had any plan for his purpose.He is never a planning guy.He roughly had an idea about what he should do,but did not have clarity about how he should go about for his personal dream for his village. He lost in the thoughts about his dream(without a plan) for his village when the conductor shouted his village name indicating the bus has reached his village bus-stand. Ramu happily alighted from bus with his backpack.
